  • Achieved a 93% success rate in resolving immigration related issues
  • 1300 job placement referrals.
  • Helped organized a hunger strike at Wackenhut Detention Center to protest the inhuman conditions, resulting in closure of the detention facility.
  • Workshop presentations at CR 10 Conference of Critical Resistance to create awareness about post 9/11 detention and deportations of Muslim and South Asians.
  • Helped stop deportations and decrease detentions through Anti-Deportation campaign.
  • CIAP success stories were mentioned in print media by award winning authors including “Exception to the Ruler” by Amy Goodman and “We are All Suspects Now” by Tram Nguyen, and “Return to Little Pakistan:The Reign of Terror in Brooklyn after 9/11” by Spencer Ackerman.
